Over the last number of years, there has been a rise in claims involving dental practitioners.
Similar to doctors, the Medical Practitioners Act 2007 applies to dentists and persons providing
dental care.

By way of examples, we have set out some of the common claims that arise:

  • Nerve damage
  • Failure to treat and diagnose the dental condition;
  • Incorrect tooth extraction;
  • Failure to manage gum disease or tooth decay;
  • Poorly fitted crowns or veneers;
