Tom Collins, Consultant
Tom studied law at UCD and qualified as a Solicitor in 1978 before forming the practice of Tom Collins & Company Solicitors in 1980. He has extensive experience in a large spread of practice areas. His principal focus has been on litigation. He has been involved in all areas of civil litigation, including breach of contract, professional negligence, public liability, nuisance claims, personal injury, medical negligence and defamation. He is also involved in commercial law.
Tom also has developed a wealth of knowledge in the area of family law matters including those involving complicated trust issues.

Bridget H. Collins, Consultant
Brid graduated from University College Dublin in 1977 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. She was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in November 1993 and so brings a wealth of expertise to her clients across a wide range of legal matters. She adapts the firm’s client centred approach in working with private clients and is committed to delivering legal services in a manner which is straightforward and without jargon so as to ensure that her clients understand fully the implications of the legal actions which they are taking.
Brid has extensive experience in areas such as conveyancing, landlord and tenant, licencing, personal injuries, will drafting, wardship and probate matters to include the preparation of probate applications, inheritance tax returns and the distribution of estate assets.

David Collins, Partner
David trained with A&L Goodbody Solicitors, one of Ireland’s largest commercial law firms before qualifying as a solicitor in 2009. Following qualification, he worked in the firm’s banking department, which included a 7-month secondment with AIB working in one of its distressed borrower work out units, before moving to London in 2011 to join Ashurst LLP, a leading global law firm. 
After working for over four years with Ashurst LLP which included a nine-month secondment with RBS, David returned to Ireland to join Tom Collins & Company Solicitors in 2016. David has extensive banking and commercial experience.

Mark Collins, Partner
Prior to joining Tom Collins & Co Solicitors LLP, Mark worked in a commercial law firm in Dublin from 2014 until 2020. Mark practises predominately in litigation and dispute resolution where he has acted for a wide variety of private companies, private clients, State bodies and financial institutions in contract law cases, enforcement and recovery actions, personal injuries cases, intellectual property disputes and product liability disputes.
Mark also has experience in advising on employment law issues, Landlord and Tenant law and Probate law. Mark advises clients on a wide range of general matters including data protection, intellectual property, insolvency issues, employment issues and the review and drafting of contracts.
